This policy explains how sol-to-ngn.com uses cookies and similar technologies. This site is a static educational resource. We keep our use of tracking and data collection to a minimum.

SOL to NGN does not set any first-party cookies. We do not use cookies to track user sessions, store login credentials, remember user preferences, or collect analytics data directly.

2. Third-Party Requests

When you load a page on this site, your browser makes requests to the following third-party services. These services may set their own cookies or log requests according to their own privacy policies.

  • Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com): Used to load the Inter typeface. Google may log the font request. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • CoinGecko API (api.coingecko.com): Called from your browser to retrieve the live SOL/NGN exchange rate. CoinGecko may log API requests. See CoinGecko's Privacy Policy.
  • Open Exchange Rates API (open.er-api.com): Used as a fallback for USD/NGN rate data. May log API requests.
  • Lucide Icons CDN (unpkg.com): Used to serve icon assets. May log CDN requests.

3. Analytics

This site does not currently use Google Analytics, Matomo, Hotjar, or any other analytics platform. If we introduce analytics in the future, we will update this policy and display a cookie consent notice before setting any tracking cookies.

4. Advertising

This site does not display programmatic advertising and does not use advertising networks (Google AdSense, etc.). We do not place retargeting pixels or conversion tracking scripts on behalf of advertisers.

5. Your Choices

Since this site does not set first-party cookies, there is nothing to opt out of on our end. To block third-party requests (Google Fonts, CDN assets, API calls), you can use a browser extension such as uBlock Origin or configure your browser's privacy settings.

Note that blocking the CoinGecko API request will prevent the live rate converter from displaying current rates. The site will still function, but the rate display will show "unavailable."

6. Changes to This Policy

We will update this policy if we introduce cookies or new third-party services. The "Last updated" date below will reflect when the policy was last changed. We recommend checking this page periodically.
